Planning ahead is the key, implement a wedding back-up plan, you may not need it, but knowing you have one is truly a sensible idea. Once a couple has met and booked my services for their forthcoming wedding ceremony this is a topic we always discuss.

Getting married under sunny blue skies on the Gold Coast may be the dream, but occasionally rain showers is the reality. It’s not much fun, even if you think you can handle a few sprinkles. Some couples are adamant on getting married rain, hail or shine. But this can become impractical, and as your Celebrant I feel I have a duty of care to ensure everyone’s safety.

It’s also imperative to remember that any equipment used throughout your ceremony must stay dry along with all certificates, legal paperwork and personal vow cards etc!

The most important thing to focus on is that you are still going to marry the “Love of your Life”. And you want to look amazing doing it!

Once all the legal stuff is done and with your consent your wedding photographer may suggest a few photos outside, they can turn out brilliantly!
